Tucson WeeklyCity Week-Cheap ThrillsINDUSTRIAL-STRENGTH TALENT: Powerful new works by eight artists are highlighted in Season Preview at Industry-a Gallery. The creative lineup includes UA alumni painter Francisco Rodriguez, photographer José Galvez and sculptor Beth C. Guinter. The exhibit also includes photographers Jenny Lynn, John Maggiotto and David Wasserman, and painters Jeffrey Jonczyk and Matt Lisenby. Season Preview runs through August 27, 2000 with an opening reception from 6 to 11 p.m. on Friday, August 4 in Industry-a Gallery, 439 N. Sixth Ave., No. 165. Regular gallery hours are noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. |

A portion of the proceeds from Industry Colorbook sales will be donated to the Tucson Museum of Art Children's Education Program to be used for scholarships. Scholarships are available for children of low-income families in our community.
